Hi!!

Woohoo - this is a second post from me today :)

- Can you believe it?!?!? I can´t ;)

With this second post,

I want to show you a card that I´ve made and send to my dear friend Camilla :)

She´s celebrating her birthday today so,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAMILLA!

I`ve used Secret Tilda from Merry Little Christmas Collection.

I think she is beautiful and also she was a perfect choice for this card,

because I wanted this card to be a little secret to Camilla :)

I´ve coloured her with Distress Ink refills.

I´ve mixed so many different colours on her shirt and trousers, so I can´t even remember

what those colours were..

But I was quite happy for the results :)

Metal butterfly is from WOC and I´ve painted it with acrylic paint.

Sentiment is also from Magnolia.

Flowers from WOC and Magnolia.

And metal corner is from WOC:.. ;)

Papers are from Pion Design

and I´ve used Tilda Lace - Magnolia DooHickey Die.

♥ Also today is my oldest son´s birthday!!

He´s turning 20!

He has joined in the army last month

and they have gone to the forest camp this week,

so unfortunately we can´t celebrate his birthday today

and I´m little sad about that :(

But still I want to wish him happy birthday, so

♥HAPPY BIRTHDAY NIKO!! ♥

TOMIC # 34 - Oval shaped card & Embossing

Hello Everyone! :)

I hope you are all well and you´ve had a good start for this week :)

Today there is a new challenge opened for us at TOMIC! :)

And today I´m going to show my very first DT card as a TOMIC DT member :)

YAY!! Lucky me!!

This week`s challenge is...

OVAL SHAPED CARD + EMBOSSING ( heat or dry)

And here is my card for the challenge..

I made a birthday card by using this beautiful Tilda With Balloon stamp

from You Are So Special Collection.

I´ve coloured Tilda with Distress Ink refills.

I´ve heat embossed text and small heart with Distress embossing powder - Black Soot,

but unfortunately they doesn´t show so well :(

So I´ve added some dry embossing on my card

and I´m very pleased with the result :):)

Some laces from local store and flowers from Magnolia, Prima and WOC.

And white paint.. of course ;)

Paper is from Magnolia too and the number six is grungeboard,

painted with crackle paint - Picket Fence.

I´ve lifted the text, number and small heart up with 3D foams.

Heipä Hei kaikille pitkästä aikaa :)

Viikko vai onko jo kohta toinenkin viikko vierähtänyt viime postauksesta.

Mihin lie tuo aika niin nopeasti meneekin...

No, mennyt mikä mennyt, mutta askarreltu on,

vaikka mitään en ole esitellyt.

Viikolla olen illat viettänyt tehden mini albumia

ja tänään sain sen vihdoin valmiiksi :)

Mini albumin tekoon ei ole mitään varsinaista syytä ollut.

Yksinkertaisesti tuli vain halu tehdä..

Tyhjentää paperivarastoa ja koristevarastoa..

saada siis syy hankkia uusia ;)

Kaikki paperit ovat Pion Designin.
Koska rakastan Pion Designin papereita, niitä on tullut hankittua aikalailla reippaasti.

Ongelma on oikeastaan siinä, että kun en henno käyttää näitä kauniita papereita

ja uusia kokoelmia ilmestyy markkinoille,

niin ei uskalla hankkia lisää ennen kuin on vanhat käytetty..

Mutta itse albumiin palatakseni... :)

Mitään erikoisia tekstejä en ole albumiin laittanut,

vaan jättänyt tarkoituksella tyhjäksi.

Tekstit lisäilen myöhemmin.

Paljon kukkia, pitsejä, helmiä sekä bling blingiä...

Ihanaa :)
Tätä albumia oli unelma tehdä, koska tähän annoin itselleni täysin

vapaat kädet laittaa mitä vaan ja kuinka paljon vaan :)

Albumi on kooltaan 8x8,

eli mini albumiksi aika reippaan kokoinen.

Sen verran innostuin tästä albumin teosta, että tilasin itselleni

näitä valmiiksi jo lisää, tosin hieman pienempinä :)

Oikein mukavaa sunnuntaita kaikille :)

Today I want to show you card which I made yesterday..

Few days ago I got a beautiful email where I was asked to make a card with a lot of decorations.

The card goes to a Lady who loves shabby and romantic style ...

I hope I have succeed on my mission...

Since this card is going to a Lady who is celebrating her birthday with huge party

but does not want her age to mention,

I think this Party Tilda is perfect for her card... :)

I love this Tilda´s skirt - it´s gorgeous :)

I´ve coloured her with Distress Ink refills.

I´ve used one of the newest DooHickey Die from Magnolia - Sweet Lovely lace and also I´ve used Heart Swirl Branch - DooHickey die.

Good Morning Friends :)

I hope you all had wonderful Christmas and you are ready to celebrate New Year :)

So, this is the last Saturday for this year and as I wrote this post,

I´ll write it with heavy heart, because this is also

last Saturday for me as a Sketch Saturday Design Team member :(

I started in Sketch Saturday last February and

I have enjoyed my journey with The Saturdays very much.

They all are wonderful Ladies with golden hearts.

So thank you Jo, and the other Ladies on the SS for this year!

Yes it´s me, Karita again - hosting another day of Magnolia Christmas Advent Calendar :)

I was so lucky girl, when I have the chance to host a second day

and that´s why I wanted to try to make something different to you

that you probably won´t see in my blog very often....

As you know, Magnolia has many wonderful collections with lots of beautiful stamps :)

And because we love these gorgeous stamps, we want to to buy them to ourselves :) Of course.. :)

Well, for my part I can tell you that, unfortunately I usually forgot those older stamps, because I´m so excited about using these newer stamps,

and it's a bit sad ..

Nyt se on ohi!!!!

Meinaan opiskelu!!

Kyllä tätä päivää on odotettu kuin kuuta nousevaa :)

Tänään oli viimeinen ja se lopullinen arviointi ja nyt saan virallisesti läväyttää kaikki kirjat, paperit ja kansiot mappi ö:hön :)

Tätä kesti 2,5 vuotta ja rankkaa on ollut.. välillä oli uskon puute itseen ja omaan osaamiseen ja jaksamiseen todella kovalla koetuksella, mutta kiitos kaikille rakkaille ystäville ja lähiomaisille tukemisesta ja kannustamisesta, se kaikki on tullut tarpeeseen :)

Nyt ei muuta kuin ensin nautitaan joulusta

ja sen odotuksesta ja sen jälkeen nokka kohti uusia tuulia :)

Ja siihen ei todellakaan liity opiskelua.. ;) heh.. :)

Jotta postaus ei olisi ihan kortiton,

tässä muutama aiemmin syksyllä tekemäni kastekortit tytölle ja pojalle..

Eipä niissä mitään ihmeellistä..

Oh I´m so good mood today :)

There has been so many funny coincidence today..

First.. today we are celebrating our Independence Day here in Finland :)

Second, we have had our first snow today :) YAY!!

Not much, but enough that everything is white in here :)

And how convenient that today there is a new challenge for us at Deep Ocean Challenge

and the theme is...

Here is my card for the challenge...

I made my card by using this beautiful Star Tilda from Magnolia.

Also those snowflakes behind Tilda and tickets are from Magnolia.

I have coloured Tilda with Dstress Ink refills.

I´ve also embossed those white snowflakes and brown ones are stamped.

Laces are from local shop.

We have so beautiful little shop here in our town where I buy almost all my laces and ribbons :)

Lucky me :)

Snowflake punch is from Martha Stewart and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I have inked all the snowflakes and roses with Walnut Stain and add Stickles - Platinum to give some beautiful sparkle.

Gorgeous papers is from 3Ndy Papir.

I just love this paper - If I remember right I bought those papers three years ago

and now I`ve used my last ones... :(

All the edges are sewed and then inked with Walnut Stain.

Ohh I´m so in a Christmas mood :)

Although we don´t have any snow yet here in Finland.

But I do believe the snow will arrive here pretty soon :)

Today I would like to show you a card which I made with my Christmas mood ;)

I love old fashioned Christmas.

And I wanted to make a card like old fashion style..

This Tilda With Heart is from old collection, but I love her very much.

She´s full of that old fashion Christmas spirit, which I love dearly :)

I´ve coloured her with Distress Ink refills.

I´ve used lots of Bazzill - Kraft cardstock in this card.

Also I´ve used Scalloped Edge Frame from Spellbinders. I have got it few years ago, but this is the first time that I used it .. shame on me... :)

I hope you all have had a wonderful start for this weekend :)

My blog has been quiet all week - I´ve been doing my graduation work all evenings.. and it´s not still finished :( So it´s going to be pretty quiet next week too :(

There´s a new sketch for us at Sketch Saturday :)

I made a vintage card for a change :) I just love these cards and also my relatives love have these cards too :)

Image and papers are from Pion Design. I have sewed all the edges and inked with DIstress Ink - Walnut Stain.

Added some white paint too :)

Snowflake punch and border punch are from Martha Stewart. I´ve added some Glitz Stickles - Tiara on the snowflakes to give a nice sparkle :)

You´ve probably not suprised that I made a Magnolia card ;)

Well what can I do... ;)

I´ve used this gorgeous Tilda With Peony from Wedding Collection.

Coloured her with Distress Ink refills.

Beautiful paper is from 3ndy Papir.

It´s actually same paper - used both sides :)

Here you can see the "sentiment banner" little better.

Finnish text says: To a Birthday Hero

Flowers from Prima, WOC and Kort&Godt.

Beautiful metal corner from WOC.

I´ve painted it with Crackle Paint - Picket Fence from Rangers.

More flowers..

And also some white paint and Stickles - Star Dust glitterglue.

As you can see from photo, paint and glitter glue hasn´t dried yet.. ;)

I made another Christmas card :)

I just love christmas - best time of the year :)

This time I used Star Tilda from last years Merry Little Christmas Collection.

Isn´t she pretty!?!?!?

I could look at her all day long :)

Flowers are from WOC and Kort&Godt.

Large snowflake under the flowers is made with punch from Woodware
and smaller snowflakes are made with Martha Stewarts punch.

Gorgeous papers are Pion Design :) Ohh, they are so beautiful :)

Also I made those snowflakes from the same paper.

Post stamps are Pion Desing too.

I have sewed all the edges and inked with DI - Walnut Stain.

Tag made with Magnolia - Vintage tag DooHickey´s die.

I´ve had an inspiration for this tag from Camilla :) Thank you Camilla :):)

I made a new card and I used one of the new stamp fromMagnolia - Sweet Christmas Dreams Collection

Here she is...

Beautiful Tilda With Hellebores :)

I´ve coloured her with Distress Ink refills.

And added lots of Stickles - Star Dust on her flowers to give some beautiful sparkle.

Gorgeous flowers and stamens from Magnolia, Kort&Godt and WOC.

And some Star Dust on them too :)

Wonderful papers are from Maja Design.

If I´m correct, they are from last years collection...

Some cheese cloth and once again... lots of white paint.. ;)

Hi Everyone! :)

Woohoo - I received my new Magnolia christmas stamps last week - Happy happy happy!!! :)

I'm so anxious when I can finally show you my first card made with one of these new stamps :)

And here she is... my new Tilda! :)

I think she is my newest favourite image :)

Aint´she beautiful :)

Coloured her with my distresses.

All papers (which are hidden under all the embellies and stuff) are from Magnolia.
Flowers from WOC and snowflakes are made with punch from Martha Stewart.

Post mark stamp from Papirloftet.

Some cheese cloth and corrugated cardboard.

Some metal embellishments and pearls..

I have used two Magnolia Doohickey die´s on my card - Lovely Fence and Tilda Lace.

Some lace, white paint and Stickles - Platinum glitter glue.

Here is my creation for the challenge...

BOO!!!!

Did I scare ya?!?! :):) ..hehe...

Oh Tilda is so sweet - she couldn´t never scare anybody :)

I made a wall hanger :)

Image became so large after all my masking, so it would be VERY BIG for a card ;) That´s why I started to make a wall hanger :)

When my dear hubby saw this he said:" Oh, you´ve started to make paintings.. " :) Yeah, right.. :) Thanks Sweetie :)

Few shiny pumpkins.. ;) heh... I have paint them with DI and the I added glossy accents on top. These scary pumpkins are from Tim Holtz Grungeboard set.

BOO - letters are the same grungeboard - oh and those bats too :)

I have coloured some cheese cloth with DI - Black Soot and I think it became perfect :)

Now you can see those bats better :) .. and spiders.. yaiks... they are from local toy store .. ;)

Fence is made with Magnolia Doo - Hickey die and the awesome paper is from Magnolia too :)

Ticket at the corner is Magnolia stamp and I think it´s perfect :)

So Magnolia - So shabby

Hi Everyone! :)

Oh boy, I had the best time ever in the crafting meeting today :) Spending time with many wonderful friends from blogland - laughing and crafting :):)

I had just finished a card, which I already started to make day before yesterday..

It´s a Magnolia card! :)

I`ve cut Tilda and glued her to sit on top of lace. For the background of Tilda´s I´ve used Doo- Hickey cutting die "Mini Doily".

Tilda is coloured with Distress Ink refills.

Also I´ve used Doo - Hickey cutting dies "Vintage Tag" and " Tilda Lace". Sentiment is from Magnolia too.

Those gorgeous flowers (expect that big pink flower), ribbons, pins and metal charm is from Ribbon Girl :)

Here is a close - up of those beautiful flowers and pins :)

Papers are from Magnolia. And can you believe it - NO PAINT!!!!!! ;)

Pearls are from Bunny Zoe´s Crafts.

Oh, and lace is from local store ;)

Good Evening My Friends! :)

I have a new card that I would like to show you today :)
I made a card with this beautiful Princess tilda from Magnolia. She is new arrival to my stamp collection ;)

Doesn´t she look just pretty!?! :)
Papers are from Magnolia too and I have sewed all the edges, inked with DI - Walnut Stain and play with the white paint. Also I have embossed with gold a little bit.

Well, I admit that I`m not quite satisfied with my coloring .. I think there is little too much black colour ..

For the first time I put some punchinella on my card :)

Ribbon and Lace are from local store.

Flowers are from Prima, Magnolia and WOC. I added some Stickles - Platinum on them.

Keys are made using Doo - Hickey Cutting Dies "Vintage Keys" from Magnolia.

Magnolia Card - Fancy Folds

I hope you are all well and have had a great weekend :)

Well, I have spent my time playing with my Magnolia stamps :) I just love those stamps and one reason is their versatility... you can do almost anything with them :)

And I made a christmas card..

I made a stair step card. And how convenient, there is a fancy folds challenge at MDUC :)

As you can see I have been playing with the effect stuff... ;) Lots of Cotton Fiber effect and white paint on the trees, tag and fences. And also I have put Puffy Velvet on the big snowflake and the background image. Not suprised to see lots of white paint here and there... ?!? ;) hehhe..

I have coloured the images with Distress Ink refills. Beautiful paper is from Magnolia too.

Here´s a close up of the tag. This tag is absolutely my favourite DooHickey Die :) Sentimet is also from Magnolia. And both metal charms are from Kort&Godt.

Magnolia card - Autumn Greetings

Good Morning My Friends! :)
Isn´t just wonderful that it´s weekend already!?!?!? :)

Autumn has arrived for us here in Finland. Yesterday we spent The Autumnal Equinox Day, which means that now the nights are longer than the days.
Ooo I just hate when it's dark and rainy ..

Although it´s dark, it´s also good that it´s autumn - nature is so beautiful, so varied and colorful :)
And so it was wonderful to notice that TOMIC has absolutely fantastic challenge theme and so I had to make a card.. :)

I made a card using this adorable "Tilda With Apples" from Magnolia. Papers are from Magnolia too. And like can see, I´ve played with the white paint.. again... ;)

Good Morning My Friends!! :)
Ooohhh , it´s so wonderful that it´s weekend again. And while you're reading this, I´m spending my time in the crafting meeting with wonderful friends :) Meeting lasts the whole weekend, so there will be lots of laughing and maybe some crafting too... I hope... ;)

Good Morning Friends :)

There´s a new challenge for us at Creative Inspirations and this weeks theme is "Use Acetate on Your Creation".

Here is my creation for the challenge....

I´ve made a gift bag/ box and I used one the new stamps from In2Stamps. This stamp is called Ashton With Falling Star and I´ve coloured her with my Distresses.

My acetate part is that empty flower box inside the "card", which I´ve filled with chocolate. Nice little christmas gift.. :)

Picture from inside and here you can see that recycled flower box little better.
Paper is from Reminisce and I have sewed and inked all the edges.

I have a tough week of studying behind .. just sitting in a school all day long and listening, and sometimes little writing. I have to work very hard to keep my eyes open ... Thank god only few weeks to go and then it's finally over! :) :)

Today I want to show a new card made with one of the new stamps from In2Stamps.

This one is called Ashton Being Santa. And she looks so adorable, doesn´t she?!?!? :) I just love christmas and when I was making this card, it got me so in christmas mood :)

Coloured her once again with my distresses. I added Puffy Velvet in the snowflakes, but unfortunately it doesn´t show.

Paper flowers are from Prima, roses and stamens are from Kort&Godt. Snowflakes are made with Martha Stewart punch and the pearls are from Bunny Zoe´s Crafts.

Beautiful paper is from Riddersholm Design, same paper - used both sides.

Ain´t she just pretty!! ?? :): ) Look at her beautiful hair and gorgeous skirt... Who can resist something so beautiful... Well I couldn´t, so I had to make a card of her :)

Nyt on sitten virallisesti Heinäkuun viimeinen päivä .. yhyy :´( No pienenä lohtuna, että vielä on yksi viikko lomaa jäljellä :):):) Toivottavasti olisi aurinkoinen viikko..

Tässä on eilisen päivän projektini....

Vaippakakku!!! :) Ja ihan ensimmäinen jonka olen tehnyt :)
Veljeni perheeseen syntyi pieni prinsessa viime keskiviikkona :) Ja ehdottomasti halusin tehdä prinsessalle kakun :):)

Tähän kakkuun meni 27 pientä vaippaa ja ylemmän kerroksen sisälle olen kätkenyt pienen yllätyksen.

Kakun päälle tein pienet vauvantossut koristeeksi.

Tätä kakkua oli erittäin hauska tehdä :) Kokeilkaahan tekin jos mahdollista :)

Oikein mukavaa sunnuntaita kaikille ja nautitaan vielä kesästä :)

Adorable Magnolia Baby :) There is a little Baby Princess born earlier this week at my brother´s family, so this card is made for a very good reason :)

Coloured the image with DI´s. I have been asked do Imix the colors when I´m colouring images?? Yes I do. For example this baby, I have used the following colors: Victorian Velvet, Black Soot, Vintage Photo and Aged Mahogny. I think it gives a nice effect when there is slightly different shades of colors.

Flowers from Kort&Godt and WOC. Stamen is from local store.

Finnish text says: "Baby Congrats".

All papers are from Magnolia´s own line. I have sewed all the edges and inked with DI - Walnut Stain. Also I have added white acrylic paint here and there.. :)

I have probably some kind of Magnolia season going on here, because this is the second Magnolia card for today :):)
Well, actually the biggest reason for making this card is the TOMIC challenge, where is magnificent theme, Stitching Faux or Real. OOhhh - I just love stitching ;)

I think I did get carried away a little bit with the decorations ;)

Kanteen pääsi ihastuttava Magnolian Tilda ruusujen kanssa. Väritykset Distress Ink täyttöpulloilla sekä kukkiin lisäsin hieman Stickles - Star Dust kimalleliimaa.

Hieman harsoa mukaan :) Aaltopahvia olen maalannut Rangers - Picket Fence krakleerausmaalilla.

Kukat Prima, Magnolia sekä Wild Orchid Crafts.

Lisää kukkia :) Boordileikkuri on Martha Stewartin ja ehdottomasti lempileikkurini - tälle on ollut paljon käyttöä :)

Tekstileimasin on myös Magnolian.

Good Morning My Friends! :)

Hopefully you are all well and you´ve been able to enjoy the sunny days :)
Here in Finland the weather changes all the time . It´s warm though, but sometimes it rains and the sky is so cloudy and time to time the sun is trying to shine.
Well, now it seems that today is going to be a sunny day, and maybe we can go to the beach.. :)

But let´s not talk about the weather anymore, let´s talk about the new challenge, which has opened up for us today at Creative Inspirations Challenge :) This weeks theme is Around The World, sounds so exciting :)

Here is my card for the challenge....

I made a card with this gorgeous Magnolia stamp: Spanish Tilda. Whenever I see this stamp, I start to sing Madonna´s - La Isla Bonita ;)

I have coloured the images with Distress Ink refills.

Flowers are from WOC and Kort&Godt. Stamen is from local store. Metal charm is send by Nicole from Inky Impressions.

Of course I need to put a lot of laces on my card :) And Stickles - Star Dust glitter glue too :)

Little more flowers and also I made a fan :)

Kuten otsikostakin voi jo lukea, niin Seinäjoella on käyty :)
Kukaan ei varmaan arvaa missä sitä tuli käytyä....... Taitopuoti Paperinauhassa tietenkin :D

Sarin kanssa lähdimme tänään aamulla ajelemaan kohti Seinäjokea. Olimme Helin kanssa jo ennakkoon sopineet, että menisimme tänään käymään "kylässä" :)
Iso KIITOS Helille oikein mukavasta päivästä ja shoppailumahdollisuudesta :)

Kamera tietenkin jäi kotiin :(
Mutta ettei postaus olisi ihan kuvaton, otin poikkeukselliseti ostoksistani kuvia..

Ostin KaiserCraftin kivan kellon ja laatikoston tuunattaviksi. Kartonkia, aaltopahvia sekä Melissa Francessin, Magnolian, Bo Bunnyn, Priman ja KaiserCraftin papereita.
Niin ja näkyyhän siellä EzMountainkin pilkistävän ;)

Sitten pienemmät ostokset..
Harsoa, lisää ihania KaiserCraftin puukuvioita sekä virkattuja kukkasia, KaiserCraftilta myös kaunis helmikiekura sekä tummanpunaisia ruusuja. Kakkupapereita, liimaa ja teippiä, leikkuriin uudet terät, puunappeja, lippuja, kimalleliimaa, kauniita Webster´s Pagesin tarroja, muutama Magnolian leimasin ja yksi stanssi sekä Timpan lippuja.

DT In2Stamps - Britt And Her Teddy

Hello Everyone! :)

I hope you are all well and are enjoying the summer!
Today I want to share a new card with you. I used this adorable Britt And Her Teddy from In2Stamps designed by Anako Art.

Aren´t those two friends the sweetest things in a whole world!!?? :) And take a look at Britt´s beautiful skirt - so pretty :)

I have coloured the image with my Distresses. And I must tell you that these images are so much fun to colour :)
I just can´t wait the new releases - they look so delicious to colour :)

As you probably have notice, my photos are these days very LARGE, so you can see them better... :):):):)

On my card, I have used gorgeous papers from Melissa Frances. Actually I have had these papers for sometime now, but for some reason, I haven´t used them before now.

I have sewed all the edges and inked with Distress Ink - Walnut Stain. Not suprised for the white paint??!! Yes, I did played with it a little bit :)

And flowers.. Of course I had to put flowers on my card :) And some lace too :)
I had a small piece of lace left and I put it under the flowers, pretty good idea don´t you think?!!

I made another confirmation card in a short time by using this beautiful church from Kort& Godt.
Coloured the image with my Distresses. Gorgeous papers from Pion Design, some film stripe from Tim Holtz and pearls from Bunny Zoe´s Crafts.

Hi! :)

I´ve got some more exciting news to share with you ...
Some of you have probably noticed my blog's sidebar, that I am a new DT member at In2Stamps :) Thank you Wendy and Bruno :)

And here is my first card with these adorable stamps. I definitely wanted to use this wonderful stamp called "Moon Girl", designed by Anako Art.

I have coloured her with Distress Ink refills and added some Stickles - Star Dust to give some sparkle.

Here is closer look of the image. Doesn´t she look beautiful just sitting there on the moon :) Maybe she is waiting for her prince to arrived....
